BEST CARRY-ON FOR THE LIGHT TRAVELLER

Even though I'm convinced the Spring Peeper is the best carry-on bag ever I can see why Crumpler have created the Bell range. Aimed at the business traveller, Bell bags are stylish and compact, just the ticket for the light traveller.

If Crumpler hadn't sent me this bag I was going to buy one anyway, I've been into the store three times to look at it. I'm going to Europe soon and I want to travel in a more compact way as I'll be moving around a lot, so I was looking for a carry-on/handbag to attach to my Dry Red suitcase. With its handy luggage strap the large Ellis handbag is the perfect fit.

The soft elegant leather handles are a beautiful detail. Plus the alloy YKK zips and weather resistant Oxford Weave peached nylon exterior give it a feeling of durability.

This bag is so well thought out. The interior has oodles of space; a 13 inch laptop sleeve, a zippered pocket and a microfiber phone pouch. The exterior sports a handy second zippered pocket and a small smart card pocket. Just to get an idea of how much room it has I popped my Bose Noise Cancelling headphones inside, along with my iPad Air and passport wallet. So much space left for toiletries, wallet and a change of clothes. I just love the gorgeous peacock feather and polka dot interior lining.

Another great feature is the sturdy base with its little feet so it won't topple over or get wet if you pop it down on a rainy street.

And of course the Ellis comes with the lifetime Crumpler warranty. So if you're after a large handbag which can double as a lightweight carry-on, at AU$245 it's a great buy. Check out more of the range at Crumpler. I've been using it as a handbag for the last few days and it's totally awesome, can't wait to use it on my trip!
