THE SWITCH OFF POUCH

In a world where technology seems to be overwhelming us more and more Blokket is a slim pouch made of a silver and nylon material that blocks cellular signals. Chuck your phone in and voila, no more distractions.

Created by designers Chelsea Briganti, Leigh Ann Tucker and Ingrid Zweifel with Manhattan-based design studio The Way We See the World, it helps give the user (and their family and friends) some peace and quiet. As an added bonus it will also protect you from identity theft as chipped ID cards and passports placed inside the pouch can't be read by sneaky unauthorized RFID readers. It's available from the Moma Store for 38 bucks.
