NEW CADBURY BAR JUST FOR WOMEN

Aimed solely at women, the Crispello is the first new chocolate bar launched by Cadbury since the 1990s. With fewer calories and a resealable packet it’ll target ladies who are conscious of their waistlines.

gogo gear

10 years ago when I zipped about on my very classy 80cc Honda Lead “scooter clothing” was non-existent. 10 years on, there are stores dedicated not just to scooters but also to stylish scooter gear. Instead of the bulky leathers associated with motorcycles, the clever folks at GoGo Gear LA decided if you’re gonna ride, you’re gonna do it not just safely but also with style.

When I first tried on the GoGo Trench I was shocked. I spend most my time in clothing stores cursing whoever designed whatever I’m trying on and thinking there must be something wrong with my shape. Not this jacket. No when I pushed my arm into this little number it felt like home. The coat has layers of abrasion resistant material and the lining and arms feel like a silk-like magic sock which even has thumb holes to really keep the wind out.

These are the key features:

  • mild to cold weather
  • waterproof fabric
  • abrasion resistant
  • reversible reflective belt
  • CE-approved armor in back, elbows and shoulders
  • reflective details in collar and cuffs
  • sizes 2-24
  • elastic inner wind cuff with thumb hole

These are my all important girly features:

The jacket comes in two classic colours – black and grey. The outside pockets are L shaped, so if you pop your phone in there it won’t fall out and it won’t mess with the line of the coat. There are two inside breast pockets and the zippers close ergonomically. The armour is also fully removable and the jacket machine washable. I don’t know how they did it but GoGo have made a jacket that fits snuggly, hides back, shoulder and elbow armour and still manages to be incredibly flattering.

Riding in this jacket feels like wearing a seat belt. No, most riding fashion jackets only come with shoulder and elbow armour so the fact that this has back armour as well (which kind of feels like you’re wearing a small backpack) is like sitting in a fighter jet. What I’m trying to say is… you feel safe.

If you’re in Sydney, Australia go and try on a trench and their other fab styles at Scooteria in Stanmore (I lust after the men’s Military Jacket – please please please make it in XS!). You won’t be disappointed.
