The Wright Bench was created by Eugene Duclos, a student at Appalachian State University (ASU), for the Perennial Wood Appalachian State Design Studio contest. Perennial Wood is a new kind of wood, manufactured in the US and modified to protect against rot, decay and movement, able to withstand moisture and outdoor elements.
