A recent study by the BBC compiled a listing of the ten largest employers in the world. While Foxconn isn’t the biggest dog in the park yet, they impressively ranked in at number 10 in the world with 1.2 million employees, most of which are employed at Foxconn’s factories that assemble gadgets like the iPhone and iPad. That’s comparable to the entire city of Dallas Texas working at one mega-company making your pretty little iPhone.
