The building that houses Louis Vuitton's new store in Shanghai looks like a giant boot. The building is a collaboration between Jun Aoki and architects Leigh & Orange – featuring fluid curves and turns down the length of the building, as well as architectural fins and lighting that succeed in creating a waterfall effect. The structure even has some environmental extras such as the ability to recycle rainwater for irrigation, reduced water consumption and green areas.

The 'Green Box' built by Act Romegialli Architects is a stunning retreat made of a lightweight skeleton of galvanized metal and steel wire for the sole purpose of promoting a habitat for climbing vegetation. It houses a cooking area and a dining/chill out room.
